Past Life:

Originally from Salt Lake City Utah, Sam moved to Boston in 2014. She began working for a small purpose-driven coffee shop that looked to make an impact by donating all profits to local non-profits. From there, Sam went on to work for the Mayor's office in Boston and helped to run a community engagement department, City Hall to Go. In that role, Sam got to know and connect with all of Boston neighborhoods. In 2018 Sam joined the Shah Family Foundation.

Sam lives in Millis with her husband Robby and their two kids.

Favorite Thing About My Job:

Sam loves working with so many smart people and learning from their ideas and perspectives on making change. She enjoys gaining insights she might not have considered otherwise.

Personal:

Sam's family loves being out of the house, always doing something, from park visits to weekend getaways. She has two kids, aged 3 and 1, and loves gardening, house plants, and taking long drives with her husband. Sam’s favorite movie of all time is Jurassic Park.
